Mid-Century home nestled in the heart of Kalamazoo near Western Michigan University. This home received a complete renovation incorporating original Mid-Century design details. The kitchen features a modern and efficient galley style layout with distinctive work areas. Clean-up and serving spaces are positioned to maintain open sight lines into the dining room and outdoor patio. Mid-Century inspired table and chairs courtesy of Douglas Home Furnishings completes a built-in banquette for additional entertaining space. A large pantry and wine refrigerator are niched into existing architecture and provide ample storage and the double oven and refrigeration columns frame the food preparation area. Sleek white cabinetry with integrated hardware blend beautifully with low-maintenance quartz countertops. Stainless luxury appliances add another layer of texture to the white oak flooring and timeless white palette. Backsplash, windows, and skylight add natural ambiance and connect the indoor with the outdoor spaces.
